Electrical/Mechanical Patent Agent - USPTO Registered - Beacon Hill : Job Details

We are working with a boutique intellectual property firm in Atlanta seeking a Patent Agent with a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 2 years of experience as a registered agent handling patent drafting, prosecution, and strategy.

Patent Agent Responsibilities:

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications

• Conduct prior art searches and patentability analyses

• Support attorneys with IP portfolio management

• Work directly with inventors, clients, and examiners

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

• USPTO registration required

• 2+ years of patent agent experience in a law firm or corporate setting

• Strong writing and communication skills
