Job Summary
Do you like solving problems, no matter how large or how complex? Our Prototype Integration Development (PID) group is offering challenging work to support our customers across multiple military fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in providing Engineering support to the in-house electrical production shop including technical direction, creation of production documentation, and working with Electrical Engineers to resolve production issues. As a PID manufacturing engineer, you will collaborate with Program Managers, Design Engineers, and the Production Team to drive process improvements to improve quality and efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
Aid in the development of new and existing Production Processes
Provide engineering support to the Electrical production floors
Aid Quality Assurance representative in inspections of manufactured parts
Provide Producibility input / reviews on Engineering Designs
Aid Rapid Prototype Engineering in reverse engineering of existing electrical assemblies as required
Creation of production build documentation
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors in an Engineering discipline or an additional 8 years of experience in leu of a degree.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in an electrical manufacturing environment
Minimum of 5 years' experience with relevant J standards and IPC standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Minimum 3 years of experience interpreting and reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
United States Department of Defense Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting United States Military programs
Understanding of Military, ASME, and SAE standards
Experience utilizing AutoCAD
Experience building and troubleshooting electrical wire harnesses for US Military customers
