Electrical Estimator/Project Manager - Blackmon-Farrell Electric : Job Details

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing, estimating, and preparing electrical quotes and proposals while implementing measures to increase the company's effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate in bid analysis, constructability reviews, performance standards, and specifications adherence. Detail-oriented and have a strong knowledge of N.E.C and other local electrical code and ability to read blueprints.
• Assist in managing projects of all sizes with the team and Superintendent
• Interpret and Review construction documents on paper and on screen
• Basic takeoff from blueprints of material and equipment
• Collaborate with Foreman and Superintendent for project change orders
• Maintain client relationships and follow-ups post bid submission
• Communicate with suppliers and customers

Required skills:

• Knowledge of construction projects and associated processes for technical aspects of projects to assure the highest level of accuracy and quality, anticipate risks and costs related to the technical aspects of the project.
• Have excellent communication, computer skills, organized and provide accurate takeoffs. Ability to walk properties, create proposals for new or existing electrical/lighting systems, you will be dealing with customers.
