Electrical Engineering Technician - GE Vernova : Job Details

Set-up and utilize a variety of test equipment for completion of daily requirements. Inspect incoming radios for compliance and acceptability. Test units at component, sub-assembly, and system level configurations. Follow defined procedures for test of assemblies. Complete the testing of both printed circuit boards and radio assemblies. Ability to troubleshoot PCBA to component level. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and isolate faults with electronic and electro-optical assemblies. Document investigation of PCBA/ Radio assemblies to determine failure and what needs to be to remedy the situation. Able to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and engineering drawings. Recognize and communicate to supervisor any test difficulties and/or product faults in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Be able to work with Engineering to relate process improvements for changes in Work Process instructions or product or product changes. Assist with manufacturing assembly and test when required.
