Selectek is looking for an Electrical Engineer to perform tasks requiring the application of standard Electrical engineering & design techniques and procedures, including the design of various electrical systems. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the creation of engineering models, drawings and designs specific to related cranes and runway systems.Required:Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering2+ years of experience, preferably in the crane or material handling industriesAutoCAD, Inventor and/or other 3D CAD design.Solid understanding of PLC'sExperience designing in 3-D CAD, and creating 2D drawings, Knowledge of 3D software preferred.CMAA, ASME/ANSI Engineering Standards.Quality Assurance/Quality Control.Understanding of Industrial controls and electrical engineering.Strength in physics and statics required.Strong background with machining and manufacturing principals.Familiarity with ERP software and other office software.Good communication and inter-personal skills.Ability to identify key requirements needed to develop products that will meet the demands of our customers.Problem solving skills and ability to work effectively.Job Responsibilities:Work within team to define, design and develop crane and runway electrical systems according to product specifications in a timely mannerAnalyze customer specification in order to design equipment consistent with customer requirements.Product design, development, and quality assurance.Creating technical drawings with appropriate dimensioning and tolerancing components.Provide electrical calculations to support the development of overhead bridge cranes and their runways. ÂSelect components or develop component designs as needed. ÂCreate drawings, bill of materials, test specifications, engineering change notices, etc.Review drawings created by drafter/detailers. ÂAssist in specifying materials, process and details in all phases of development and manufacturing.Provide sufficient engineering to estimate the cost of a project. ÂEnsures that all designs, engineering drawings, parts lists and related documents are accurate, up-to-date and comply with drawing standards.Support of existing products through troubleshooting and implementation of correction.Maintaining a workflow that ensures timely adherence to all deadlines.Term of Assignment:  6 months temp to permLocation of Job:  Braselton, GAPay Range:  $33.65/hour - $52.88/hour ($70,000 - $110,000 depending on experience)WFH: Hybrid possible after a few weeks of learning administrative processes/duties on siteRemote:  NoHours & Shift:  Monday - Friday; 8AM – 5PMOvertime:  Not likelyTravel:  NoWork Attire:  Business casualDoes the client require a background check/drug test?  YesPlease contact Lizzie Johns at 470-###-#### or [email protected] for more details.Â
