Responsibilities

The candidate will work independently in a small, multidisciplinary team, utilizing their experience to analyze unknown PCB circuitry, analog/digital signals, and create electronic devices for interfacing. Creating prototype devices and modules for power and signals I/O is necessary. Test reports will be required to define analyzed circuitry and test devices and modules.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze analog and digital circuitry with known and unknown properties
- Identify and integrate microprocessor and microcontroller boards
- Research power and signals hardware to determine use cases or design purposes
- Design circuits and PCBs for customer interface hardware
- Operate laboratory test equipment to ensure accurate results
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD
- Expertise in electrical circuit testing, analysis, and prototyping sub-systems
- Experience with circuit design software for creating circuit traces with key parameters
- Experience developing electrical sub-systems and prototypes for field-deployable systems using customized designs or adapter modules
- Familiarity with lab hardware such as oscilloscopes, power supplies (AC/DC), and spectrum analyzers
- Experience with microprocessors/microcontrollers like Arduino, TI, and their IDEs
- Knowledge of C# and/or MATLAB for automation and programming electrical components
- Proficient in technical documentation using MS Word and PowerPoint
- Availability to be on-site five days a week
- Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- U.S. Citizenship

- Background in electrical engineering plus mechanical, computer, or optical engineering
- Experience in reverse engineering electrical systems

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000, based on experience and other factors.
