POSITION OVERVIEW As a Electrical Engineer II your roles and responsibilities will include: As an Electrical Engineer II, supporting plant operations and executing capital projects across North America. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, control system maintenance, and power systems support, while also managing engineering project scopes from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical/control systems engineering for projects and plant support.
- Troubleshoot plant control and power systems; support PMs (IR, arc flash studies, etc.).
- Execute capital projects (scope, design, cost, schedule, training).
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, suppliers, and external consultants.
- Oversee project implementation, commissioning, and documentation.
- Apply and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and corporate safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Electrical Engineer II who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Electrical Engineer II would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI programming, and networked systems.
- Experience with 480V-13.8kV systems (preferred).
- Demonstrated success managing $50k-$2MM projects.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).
