Electromechanical Engineer

Assist engineers in the research, design, development and test of a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment. Work with more experienced engineers as they provide technical/engineering support to Electronics teams for issues related to the performance of the various electronics hardware. Assist more senior engineers with the design, development, and test for electrical support equipment.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Experience and/or knowledge in Electrical Engineering Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills: Excellent communication and technical writing skills. Zuken E3 schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model based engineering. Willingness to learn new environments, work independently in fast-paced development environment. Willingness to present to leadership and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
