Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $73920-$95495.4. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including, performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer!

The S&C Early Talent Program is intended to provide early career professionals with a rich development experience across S&C's Product Development organization.Rotations typically last for 18 to 24 months after which time the individual is placed in a permanent position.Participants will contribute to S&C's product development organization while learning foundational engineering skills, developing a baseline understanding of S&C products, and understanding internal processes and workflows.

The Product Development and Technology & Breakthrough Innovation (TBI) organizations are responsible for the new product development, product engineering/sustaining engineering functions, and new concepts and technology developmentat S&C. The program provides an excellent opportunity to become a well-rounded professional with varied experience, widely sought-after skills, and great prospects for future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, simulation, and troubleshooting of digital, analog, and power circuits
  • Perform product verification and validation testing
  • Conduct DFMEA and circuit analyses
  • Analyzeof high-voltage electrical components and electrical circuits
  • Enhance the capabilities of the Hardware Electronics Laboratory
  • Work cross-functionally to develop advanced electronic designs for the power industry
  • Learn the basics of electronics design as well as the latest technologies
  • Learn the basics of electrical power distribution and how technology is used to solve real world problems
  • Work with New Product Development Reliability Engineers to develop test automation software and hardware for reliability tests
  • Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Solve challenges arising from developing software components used by many highly interactive applications across S&C
  • Work with software engineers to implement an intuitive user experience
  • Work with software development team members to design and distribute assets
  • Implement UI components using the S&C Design System
  • Present significant findings, orally and in writing, to senior management and engineers throughout the company

What you'll Need To Succeed:

Job Requirements (To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):

  • BS degree in electrical or electronics engineering
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and spoken, to clearly present ideas in a variety of forums
  • Desire to work hands-on in testing PCB's or develop software components used in highly interactive applications
  • Ability to operate successfully bothindependently and as part of a largerengineering team

  • Standing: Occasional standing for work
  • Lifting: Occasional light lifting, infrequent lifting of up to 35 pounds
  • Walking: Occasional walking throughout the facility
  • Carrying: Occasional carrying of light objects for short distances
