Electrical Design Engineer - Selectek Staffing Solutions : Job Details

An Electrical Design Engineer to work directly with the electrical lead Engineer for the design of building projects in Darien, IL Required: BS degree in Electrical Engineering required. Fundamentals of Engineer Exam taken a plus. Applicants shall have completed coursework in engineering and/or have practical design experience working on building systems. Up to 4 years of Electrical engineering experience. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 72 and Chicago Building Codes a plus. Proficiency in AutoCad and REVIT MEP preferred (training available). Responsibilities: Design projects from schematic design through construction under Senior Engineer. Provide necessary support as required for lighting, power, riser diagrams, electrical circuiting, voice/data, security, AV and fire alarm systems. Check shop drawings and assist during construction. Majority of responsibility will be production work.
