Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Electrical Design EngineerLocation: Von Ormy, TXSalary: $175,000–$250,000 baseRelocation: Assistance availableIndustry: Mission Critical Power Systems / Commercial Electrical ConstructionReports To: Engineering LeadershipTeam Size: Individual Contributor / Lead RoleOverview:A rapidly growing manufacturer of power distribution modules, generator enclosures, and E-Houses is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Design Engineering Leader to support the development of a new product line. This position will focus on the design and integration of packaged power systems, including medium and high voltage switchgear applications, for mission critical facilities worldwide.Key Responsibilities:Lead custom electrical designs for generator enclosures, power distribution centers, and E-HousesDevelop detailed electrical systems that comply with client specifications and industry codesCreate structural and HVAC design input to support complete enclosure systemsSelect materials based on environmental and performance criteriaPrepare bills of material and support part number creationOversee engineering phases of assigned projects and ensure timely executionCreate detailed engineering drawings, specs, and documentation packagesEnsure all designs meet quality, performance, and compliance standardsMaintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycleWhat Sets This Role Apart:Unique opportunity to design infrastructure for mission critical environmentsLeadership role in a fast-growing, innovative product lineHands-on involvement with E-House design and custom modular systemsWork for a company known for technical innovation and strong client relationshipsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in mission critical or commercial construction industriesStrong electrical systems design experience related to power distributionPE license highly (not required if other qualifications are met)Proficient with Autodesk Revit and 3D AutoCADStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsBackground in MEP design or engineering for building systems stronglyAdditional Notes:Priority given to candidates with experience in with Revit, AutoCAD 3D, and/or PE certificationNot seeking traditional manufacturing or circuit board design engineers—ideal candidates come from commercial construction or MEP engineering backgroundsNo remote work; onsite presence requiredLocal/regional candidates#J-18808-Ljbffr
