Electrical Control Engineer - Russell Tobin : Job Details

Russell Tobin is looking for a motivated automation engineer with a solid background in electrical engineering, focusing on process control and automation design to join a global manufacturer in the Angola/Farnham area! The ideal candidate will be hands-on and have a proven track record in engineering development, technical management, and project coordination, along with excellent troubleshooting abilities.

This is a direct hire/permanent role with a salary in the $105k-$125k range.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing process control and automation systems, with a focus on Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI's, Variable Frequency Drives, and related interfaces in an industrial food processing setting.
• Troubleshooting automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices using test equipment.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting electronic control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the food processing industry.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and codes.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
