Job Summary:We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Assembly & Test Technician to join our production team. This hands-on role involves assembling, wiring, testing, and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with small component assembly, cable preparation, and PCB handling, and will be comfortable following detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.Perform precise screwing of small components and mechanical fasteners.Strip and shrink cables, crimp terminals, and route wiring in main control boxes.Wiring & Electrical Work:Wire main enclosuresFollow electrical schematics and work instructions to ensure proper connections.Inspect and test wiring for continuity and proper installation.Testing & Inspection:Conduct initial and final testing of assembled systems using diagnostic tools.Inspect PCBs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) for defects or damage.Perform rework, disassembly, and repairs as needed to meet quality standards.Documentation & Quality:Accurately follow and complete work instructions and production documentation.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.Report any non-conformities or process deviations to the supervisor.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.1–3 years of experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or HVAC.Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.Familiarity with tools such as torque drivers, wire strippers, heat guns, and multimeters.Experience with PCB inspection and rework is highly desirable.________________________________________Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, bend, and work with small components for extended periods.***General Requirements***When working in a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship itemsSafely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weightOperating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible mannerReaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisorWorking on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shiftComfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipmentThere may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.It is important to Bluecrew that you go home in the same healthy state that you came to work in, so please do not accept this assignment if you cannot fulfill all of the above duties.
