**Job Description:**

Perform installation and wiring of electrical components on company produced equipment.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems.

* Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

* Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.

* Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.

* Check wiring for proper coding and termination. Check for shorts, grounds and continuity.

* Diagnose and remedy electrical programs.

* Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel.

* Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points, using soldering or related bonding procedures and equipment.

* Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

* Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

* Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

**Qualifications:**

* High school degree or GED equivalent.

* Experience working in in a manufacturing environment on electrical / electronic controls is preferred.

* Basic PC skills

* Able to distinguish colors

* 2-5 years industrial electrical assembly experience.

* Must be able to read schematics.

* Possess good communication skills and be able to independently solve problems while interacting with various teams, along with good interpersonal skills working with teammates on daily processes and flow.

* Must be capable of multi-tasking various duties throughout the day, have a positive attitude with an ability to be versatile and flexible.

* Assist personnel as necessary to maintain proper flow of work through the assigned area.
