Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist Full-time, Permanent On-site Location: Aliceville, AL

Your Role: As an Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining our electrical and instrumentation systems at the production facility. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment runs efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair a variety of electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
  • Monitor meters, indicators, and gauges for abnormal fluctuations and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Utilize your knowledge of operational software and hardware to support maintenance activities.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on all control instrumentation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and correct electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures.
  • Complete work order cycles, confirming completion and entering detailed equipment history.
  • Diagnose potential or existing issues with plant electrical equipment and implement timely solutions.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and adjustments as indicated.
  • Install and commission electrical equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Maintain cleanliness in your designated work area and uphold safety standards.
  • Utilize a multi-craft skill set to perform various maintenance tasks as needed.

Who You Are: You possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a technical degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and adjusting equipment to maximize production and reduce downtime.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo, and Frequency Drives.
  • A professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe working environment and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Willingness to work shifts that may include weekends, nights, and holidays.
