Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to manage all instrument, controls, electrical, analytical, and IT-related equipment at our Air Separation Unit facility. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in instrumentation and electrical systems, particularly within industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance, diagnostics, and operation of medium and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ensure electrical switchgear operates efficiently and adheres to safety standards.
- Lead lifecycle management for plant control systems, enhancing HMI and control system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot HMI/PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with plant operations.
- Assist project teams with Site Factory Acceptance Testing (SFAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Conduct testing and calibration of essential process instruments including analyzers, flow totalizers, and transmitters.
- Ensure accurate data acquisition related to production rates, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage instrumentation for monitoring production rates and environmental KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with quality and regulatory compliance teams for adherence to industry standards.
- Act as a pivotal member of the Quality Control Unit (QCU).
- Provide expert support to other departments and external vendors as needed.
- Assist in commissioning activities for new and upgraded facilities.
- Support startup processes for instrumentation, electrical, and control systems in new and upgraded installations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician, Electrical Engineer, or Control System Specialist in continuous process plant environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects autonomously.
- In-depth experience with cryogenic air separation plants and related technologies.
- Familiarity with software systems such as MS Office Suite, Plant PAX, FactoryTalk, and other SCADA systems.
The role is based at our facility in Blytheville, Arkansas and offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan.
