The EHS Specialist, based at the Totowa, NJ plant, reports directly to the EHS Manager. The department is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs to improve employee safety. Responsibilities include identifying potential risks and enforcing protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Working Environment: Plants are large, open floor areas with loud machinery, requiring some areas for workers to wear ear protection to guard against noise. Workers are exposed to high temperatures during the summer months. Some work in cold environments during winter months. You will be exposed to a dusty work environment due to raw materials. Materials may contain allergens (eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, milk, fish, shellfish, wheat).

Travel Requirements: Travel as needed for company business. Domestic and International travel may be required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, location and business or organizational needs.
