EHS Professional

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional is a critical role responsible for developing, implementing, and continually improving safety and health programs and procedures. This position ensures the well-being of personnel and plant-wide health and safety.

Responsibilities

* Safety Programs and Procedures:

* Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies specific to the semiconductor fab environment.

* Regularly review and update safety protocols to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of safety measures.

* Environmental Compliance

* Develop, implement, and maintain environmental programs and policies

* Ensure regulatory compliance

* Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

* Conduct risk assessments related to equipment, processes, and facilities.

* Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

* Evaluate incidents and near-misses to improve safety practices.

* Emergency Preparedness:

* Develop and oversee emergency response plans.

* Coordinate drills and training sessions for personnel.

* Ensure compliance with emergency procedures during critical situations.

* Health and Environmental Compliance:

* Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines.

* Implement measures to minimize environmental impact.

* Collaborate with regulatory agencies as needed.

* Training and Education:

* Provide safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors.

* Foster a safety-conscious culture within the fab.

* Conduct regular safety briefings and workshops.

* Incident Investigation and Reporting:

* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses.

* Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions.

* Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents.

* Continuous Improvement:

* Regularly assess safety performance metrics.

* Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

* Participate in safety audits and inspections.
