Your Role at a Glance As an EHS Coordinator, you will be the go-to safety partner for our Liberty and Concord, NC facilities. You'll lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing our environmental, health, and safety programs-ensuring compliance, preventing incidents, and promoting a culture where safety is second nature. You won't just support our safety goals-you'll shape how they're achieved. What You'll Do
- Serve as a key safety liaison between corporate and the plant floors-supporting, guiding, and empowering site teams.
- Champion and evolve world-class safety programs that protect people and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, and state regulations, including risk assessments and documentation.
- Lead the site Safety Compliance Assessment process, track progress, and report on key EHS metrics.
- Conduct job hazard analyses, develop control strategies, and assist with PPE assessments and certifications.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and lead corrective actions with urgency.
- Monitor and manage waste streams and ensure proper environmental reporting and documentation.
- Partner with HR and leadership to support wellness, emergency response, and continuous safety education.
- Be a visible force for safety, conducting site audits, trainings, and toolbox talks to inspire accountability and awareness.
What You BringEducation & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience-required
- OSHA 10-Hour (required); OSHA 30-Hour, Risk Assessment Training (preferred)
Experience
- 2+ years in EHS or a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Skills & Strengths
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related safety/environmental regulations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and investigation skills
- High attention to detail with the drive to lead and influence culture
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel between sites regularly
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
