Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Mankato, Minnesota. This role is responsible for leading safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting training, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety. The EHS Coordinator will also lead a team of Safety Champions across the facility to build a proactive, safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all safety programs within the Mankato manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company EHS policies.
  • Lead the Safety Champion team in executing safety initiatives and completing assigned responsibilities.
  • Conduct engaging and informative safety training sessions for new hires and existing employees.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions, and maintain detailed records.
  • Collaborate with plant leaders to integrate safety into daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Track and report on key safety metrics and performance indicators.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (not required).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment (5+ years ).
  • OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent .
  • Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST) highly desirable.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and training delivery skills.
  • Solid problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
  • Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and build a culture of safety.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor and engaging with employees at all levels.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
