Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain safety and environmental policies in line with regulatory requirements. Stay current on federal, state, and local EHS regulations and implement necessary updates. Conduct regular safety and environmental audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Identify and recommend corrective actions to eliminate hazards and improve safety programs. Lead and deliver EHS training sessions for employees at all levels. Review safety metrics, accident reports, and audit findings to drive continuous improvement. Foster employee engagement in safety programs through communication and recognition initiatives. Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and manage reporting requirements. Oversee workers' compensation program and claims management with third-party partners. Coordinate safety committee meetings and promote a proactive safety culture. Maintain accurate records and prepare required EHS reports. Support additional safety and environmental initiatives as. Onsite at our Newport, NH facility.

The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of relevant safety experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with federal, state, and local safety standards. Local to Newport, NH.
