About Our Client We're working with a nationally recognized general contractor to find a Project Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to support complex, high-impact construction projects across the U.S. These include large-scale builds in the data center, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and life sciences markets. Our client is a nationally ranked general contractor with a reputation for excellence in the most complex and high-profile projects across the U.S. Their work spans mission-critical infrastructure, life sciences, education, and advanced manufacturing. This is a traveling role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to be on the front lines of safety leadership, in charge of implementing best practices, driving cultural change, and shaping project outcomes that truly matter. Job Description
  • Lead and enforce EH&S policies on major construction sites, acting as the on-site authority for environmental health and safety
  • Partner with field leadership to identify safety risks, implement mitigation strategies, and build a culture of awareness and accountability
  • Conduct safety training sessions for project teams and subcontractors, ensuring understanding of job-specific standards and policies
  • Oversee environmental risk assessments, including hazardous materials, and guide teams through compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
  • Monitor safety performance, lead incident response when necessary, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Support team development by mentoring junior safety staff and aligning individual performance with broader project and company goals

  • 7+ years of construction EH&S experience with a strong understanding of environmental and safety compliance on complex job sites
  • CHST certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months), plus OSHA 30 and current First Aid/CPR/AED credentials
  • Solid knowledge of Federal, State, and local safety regulations, construction practices, and environmental controls
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead training, coach teams, and present data clearly to all levels
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and risk prevention
  • Must be comfortable working in the field and traveling to different projects across the country
