To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Assist in the development and/or update of documents representing EHS programs, policies, and procedures Assist in the development, implementation and delivery of safety training programs and policies/procedures Assist in updating existing EHS programs and policies/procedures Assist in identifying hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommend corrective measures Assist with the completion of Risk Assessments and upload to corporate IT system Assist with the generation and installation of safety-related labels and signage as needed Assist in the assembly and distribution of safety-related equipment and PPE Assist in the performance of ergonomic evaluations and NIOSH lifting calculations and track results Perform other duties established by the EHS Manager Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required Enrolled in an EHS related program in an institute of higher learning Desire to learn and grow your career in the EHS field Experience: Basic knowledge of OSHA, EPA (DEQ), NFPA and other government regulations Special Skills: Must demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal instructions with little or no supervision Good computer skills - MS Office Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish desired but not required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
