EEG Specialist - Per Diem - Stony Brook University : Job Details

At Stony Brook Medicine, an EEG Specialist is a valuable member of our team, who provides clinical services to our patient population. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. Duties of a EEG Specialist may include the following but are not limited to: Perform a wide range of electroencephalograms including routine, portable and continuous EEG. Perform long term video EEG monitoring. Includes setup of patient, review and editing of EEG data and related duties. Perform other electro-neurodiagnostic examinations. Maintain and inventory laboratory equipment and supplies. Help maintain laboratory and patient records including departmental databases. Archive patient data to DVD or other media Assist in the guidance of the technologist's continuing education. To include directed releasing and online training.
