Educator-Dentist - Loma Linda University Health : Job Details

The Educator-Dentist provides mentorship and instruction to School of Dentistry students assigned to preclinical and clinic education. Manages unexpected situations related to the dental treatment of patients, such as untoward reactions to treatment and emergencies. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Doctorate Degree in Dentistry or equivalent required. Minimum one year of experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge in the discipline being taught. Possess training and competence to manage unexpected situations related to the dental treatment of patients. Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations. Able to effectively communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner Able to keyboard 40 wpm.
