Edit and occasionally write short breaking news articles throughout the evenings and weekends on the top headlines Coordinate coverage with the live blog during big news events Collaborate across editorial and platform teams to optimize reader engagement. Read widely and stay abreast of the competition. Work with platforms producers to keep the homepage looking updated and fresh, and help with headlines, push alerts and newsletter production Act as the final editorial authority across the site in the evenings and on weekends, making sure all copy is adhering to MSNBC standards.
