ED Tech/Clerk - Orchard Hospital : Job Details

The Emergency Department Tech/ Clerk, under direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff, medical staff, and/or Nurse Manager, contributes to patient care by performing clerical and non-professional tasks directly and indirectly related to patient care and Emergency Department unit functioning. The Emergency Department Technician will function as support for the nursing and medical team responding to the needs of patients of any age-including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric within the scope of their practice and competence. Qualifications: High School Graduate or Equivalent; CNA, MA, EMT preferred, but on the job training will be provided in practices and procedures of Orchard Hospital; Minimum one year experience in healthcare setting preferred; Must be able to read and write English. Current BLS Certificate.
