We are seeking a customer-obsessed Ecommerce Product Manager to support the design, implementation, and optimization of digital experiences throughout the customer journey. This high-impact role helps drive satisfaction, conversion, retention, and lifetime value for our eCommerce customers. The ideal candidate has solid product management experience, a data-driven approach, and strong empathy for the customer. You thrive in a fast-paced, DTC eCommerce environment, collaborating cross-functionally to turn insights into site improvements, scalable processes, and practical solutions.

The Ecommerce Product Manager will report to the Director, eCommerce Operations. This position will be based in our Midtown, Manhattan office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days WFH).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CX Product Strategy: Assist in defining and continuously evolving a customer-first vision and roadmap spanning acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and post-purchase experiences.
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Identify friction points across the digital funnel and support optimization efforts to reduce churn, improve usability, and enhance satisfaction.
  • UX/UI Best Practices: Ensure consistent adherence to UX/UI best practices, conversion optimization, and performance improvements across digital initiatives. 1) Develop and iterate low-high fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interface mockups to effectively communicate product concepts and requirements. 2) Translate customer insights, usability research, and business goals into engaging design templates that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and measure the success of feature enhancements.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Plan, launch, and iterate on site tests that improve conversion, discoverability, and navigation.
  • Site Maintenance & Requirements Management: Support ongoing site maintenance through requirements gathering, issue tracking, content updates, escalation resolution, and lead QA/UAT to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with brand marketing, eCommerce, and operations teams to align roadmaps, gather requirements, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Project & Workflow Management: Manage multiple digital initiatives and capacity planning efforts, establish scalable workflows, and track progress using tools like Monday.com and Teams.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor Web Operations Coordinators, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and team efficiency.
  • Off-Hours Support: Provide off-hours support for launches as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in web production, eCommerce product management, customer experience, site operations, or related roles, with strong knowledge of Shopify Plus and third-party apps.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Technology, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Shopify Plus, Liquid, theme customization, and app integrations. Familiarity with front-end development and UX/UI best practices.
  • UX & Site Performance: Strong understanding of UX principles, site performance metrics, funnel optimization, and customer behavior. Demonstrate hands-on experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) to support product planning and user validation efforts.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, heatmaps, A/B testing, performance optimization, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Project Management: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery. Proactive in improving processes and experienced in using tools like Monday.com to track progress, manage timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator, collaborator, and presenter who enjoys sharing findings and actionable insights.
  • Team Management: Experience managing and mentoring a Shopify-focused web team. A commitment to continuous learning, staying updated on Shopify Tech Stack enhancements and best practices.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a dynamic, small-team environment. Be solutions-oriented, with the ability to adjust to shifting project requirements.
