ECM VP - NYC - Selby Jennings : Job Details

About the Role:Our client, a top-tier global investment bank with a strong track record in capital markets, is seeking experienced Vice Presidents to join their Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in New York. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions across a broad range of sectors.

As a specialist recruitment partner, we are looking for individuals with a deep understanding of capital markets, strong client management skills, and a proven ability to lead deal execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of ECM transactions including IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, and convertible offerings.
• Partner with coverage and product teams to originate new business opportunities.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to corporate issuers and financial sponsors.
• Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, pitch books, and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including legal, compliance, syndicate, and research teams.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.

Candidate Profile:

• 6-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on ECM or related capital markets roles.
• Strong execution track record across a variety of equity products.
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Deep understanding of SEC regulations and capital markets processes.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
