Responsibilities
Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance is performed during after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards
Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure
Communicates with Patient Transportation, Nursing Units, Physician Offices, and other diagnostic areas to ensure that the patients receive their diagnostic procedures in an efficient and safe manner
Direct physician interaction by performing case by case review of the physician request for a procedure to be performed, as well as verifying the type of diagnostic test requested and that the indication for the procedure is
Complete processing diagnostic tapes, Worksheets, and completing supporting documentation of logs, demographic and diagnostic information required for departmental, hospital and patient record documentation
Qualifications
Associate's Degree OR one year certificate from a healthrelated program in a related medical field, which includeseminar course training in cardiac ultrasound preferred
Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for MedicalSonographers (ARDMS) as RDCS OR RVT or Registered byCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS

Overview
Echo Technologist II
As our Echo Tech I you will operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the specialty area of Echocardiography. You must be able to perform 2D/Doppler echocardiograms, Pharmacological and TMT stress echocardiograms and assist with Transesophageal echocardiograms.
To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images. You'll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients.

Pay Range
$33.60 - $48.73 /hour
