About Our Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility offering the latest medical programs, technology, and patient-focused care, including 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities:

The Echo Tech performs standard cardiac ultrasounds, EEG, and EKG, including transesophageal echo (TEE) and stress echoes, ensuring quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certificate from an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound program; one year of formal training in Cardiac Technology.
• Registered sonographer (ARDMS or CCI/RCA) or required within 1 year of hire.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to interpret EKG strips within 6 months.
• CPR certification within 6 months.
• Availability on call and holidays.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and major disease processes of Cerebral and Peripheral Vascular systems.

Preferred: Neuro-anatomy course.

Pay Range Minimum: $32.43/hr. Compensation depends on experience, education, and may include differentials and call pay.
