East Coast Visual Merchandising Director - Dolce & Gabbana : Job Details

Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional East Coast Visual MerchandiserDirector career opportunity available at our NY Corporate office.

MISSION:

• Develop and maintain Dolce & Gabbana brand image for retail store/wholesale door locations.
• Facilitate and execute global merchandising directives and guidelines for all east coast retail stores.
• Communicate merchandising and window information to all store locations.
• Facilitate and execute window programs as applicable to US markets.
• Compile monthly Visual Reports for all Flagship locations.
• Manage and support 3 East Coast Visual Managers including store rotations, schedules, communication and roll out of global initiatives.
• Support all new store openings and special events including Alta Moda.
• Oversee and approve Visual budget including travel, shipping/receiving, visual inventory and installations.

Job Requirements:

• 8-10 years' experience specifically related Visual Merchandising experience in both a corporate and multi-unit retail setting.
• High School Degree or equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and other software related to communicating various materials.
• Capability of understanding customer trends and formulate business strategy through collection portfolio management.
• Ability to build and lead teams either through direct or indirect reporting line

• Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
• Client Orientation: capability of understanding customer trends and strategically drive and formulate business strategy.

The annual salary rate for this role ranges from $135,000 - $145,000. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to take part in our comprehensive benefits program which includes: medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurances, 401(k) plan, FSA plans, and more. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
