EAM Analyst
Houston, TX
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 base pay + bonus
Role Overview:
This position plays a vital role in supporting operations by ensuring asset management and maintenance processes are accurately maintained within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, data integrity, and reporting. The role will also support the development of system-related training and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):
- Support the configuration and upkeep of asset hierarchies and equipment data in the company's maintenance system
- Maintain inspection records and ensure data aligns with compliance standards
- Create and manage recurring maintenance routines based on internal procedures and recognized maintenance principles
- Help assign and track routine maintenance tasks through the CMMS
- Create work orders for compliance-driven or mechanical requests
- Pull operational and compliance reports as needed by leadership
- Provide on-site system support and training across company locations as required
- Develop and deliver advanced training for internal teams on system usage
- Resolve technical challenges related to the maintenance system
- Participate in internal and external compliance reviews
- Assist with updates and submissions related to master asset data
- Provide user testing and support during software enhancements or upgrades
- Maintain process documentation to support consistent system use
Requirements:
- Experience working within an enterprise maintenance or asset management platform is required—applicants should have hands-on knowledge of at least one major system such as SAP (especially PM), Motiva's platform, Oracle's ERP tools, or Infor EAM
- General comfort with software systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new technical tools
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet tools (Microsoft Excel preferred)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Analytical thinker with sound judgment and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Must meet requirements for travel, which may account for up to a quarter of the role
Background & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with compliance tracking, asset lifecycle management, and maintenance scheduling
- Prior exposure to mechanical systems, compression equipment, or related technical environments is a plus
- Understanding of the responsibilities commonly held by maintenance planners or schedulers is helpful
