Field Archaeologists - R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. has openings for durational Field Director. This position will require travel for which single occupancy lodging and per diem reimbursements of $45 per day will be provided. Job Duties and Requirements:
- Follow direction from Project Management and Operations Personnel to execute archeological field work within a project area and complete documentation of the field efforts undertaken;
Qualified candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field required: a Master's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cultural resource management, with field supervisory experience required
- Completed an accredited archaeological field school;
- Proficiency in archaeological field methods, GPS mapping and artifact handling
- Knowledge of local, state and federal cultural resource laws and guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work well with others and be a proactive part of a project team; Detailed note taking skills;
- A valid driver's license
This position is a durational appointment, ending upon completion of the project.
