Position Summary

Drybar Receptionists are responsible for providing excellent client experiences, facilitating shop flow, and reporting daily sales results. We expect our team members to be committed to contributing to the success of the team and the shop.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead client experience from check-in to check-out, ensuring Drybar standards are upheld.
  • Check clients in and out through Booker.
  • Maintain the highest level of ethics when handling client payments and stylist tips/commissions.
  • Troubleshoot Booker issues and update client profiles as needed.
  • Manage Skype communication with Customer Service and ensure timely responses.
  • Address scheduling concerns with the Customer Service team when necessary.
  • Review notes for any special client requests.
  • Manage shop flow, including pairing clients with stylists and managing break schedules.
  • Serve complimentary beverages to clients.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and restock retail displays.
  • Participate in merchandising and inventory projects.
  • Provide exceptional service and create a bar-like atmosphere by engaging with clients and team members.
  • Maintain clear communication with shop management about operations.
  • Sell products, tools, and memberships.
  • Be punctual and prepared for all shifts.
  • Contribute to a positive shop atmosphere and attend mandatory meetings.
  • Uphold Drybars 10 Core Values.
  • Train new team members thoroughly on Booker, core values, and role expectations.
  • Perform side work and cleaning duties.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
