Job Description :

The dry dock logistics manager will perform the planning and logistics management functions to support Dry Dock/Special Projects execution for the CCL fleet.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Contract and manage on-site Dry Dock Logistics providers. Responsible for performance management, development for direct reports as well as managing day-to-day activities for all 3PL, contractors, and direct reports.
  • Establish key metrics and success criteria for projects.
  • Responsible for timetable and deadlines to ensure timely execution for the logistics. Must elevate to upper management when issues are not occurring in a timely manner.
  • Completely responsible for planning and execution of the logistics of all aspects of the dry docks.
  • Manage timelines and communications with internal customers and external partners.
  • Develop master schedule for shipping cutoffs and exception management.
  • Responsible to successfully manage work relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Establish procedures for reverse logistics and product returns. Conduct lessons learned at the end of each project with major stakeholders.
  • Required for all Jobs:

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Major: bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business or Engineering preferred.
  • Work Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Logistics working with 3rd party contractors and FT EE's.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Required regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
  • May need to stand for long periods of time.
  • Travel:

  • 40% - 50% travel.
  • Ship/Shore based.
  • Work Conditions:

  • Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
  • May be requested to work a different shift.
  • Compensation:

    The range for this role's base salary is $90,000 - $105,000. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
