Dry Dock Engineer - Bath Iron Works Corporation : Job Details

The Dry Dock Engineer will be the maintenance and technical expert on the systems on Floating Drydock #3. Responsible to the Dockmaster for the day-to-day management of a multi-disciplinary crew conducting maintenance, repair, and operation of BIW's Floating Dry Dock #3. Shall act as a backup for the Dockmaster when he is not present, overseeing waterfront safety and operations within the shipyard. Applicants must be able and willing to work and train towards certification as a floating dry dock FOS IAW USN MILSTD 1625 D. Ability to self-manage and take initiative; must be a self-starter requiring limited supervision. Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership:Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
