Driver - Yard/Plant Non-CDL - Dairy Farmers of America : Job Details

Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and DFA rules, regulations, and policies adhering to all safety practices - Receive instructions via radio and perform trailer shuttling to accommodate logistical needs - Perform daily maintenance checks of shuttle truck and report any malfunctions to the appropriate person - Document all trailer moves into the appropriate system or daily move sheet; submit sheet to appropriate person upon the completion of the shift - Fuel the yard truck as needed - Couple and uncouple tractor trailer units - Connect and disconnect brake lines as needed - Perform safety check inspection of the trailer according to DOT regulations - Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift - Communicate effectively and maintain good relations with local staff; report any problems to the supervisor - Attend all driver workshops and training sessions - Represent DFA positively and professional...Driver, Yard, Plant, Manufacturing, Skills
