Driver/Porter - FT Ocala Florida - Orlando Freightliner : Job Details

DescriptionWe are looking for energetic, service-oriented, and driven individuals to join our operations. The Test Driver will be in charge of delivering vehicles to customers and test driving for Service issues and repairs.General Responsibilities

• Drive various trucks on highways and commercial areas; abiding by all transportation laws and traffic standards
• Provides excellent service and displays a positive and professional attitude with team members
• Prepare reports and other documents related to deliveries and truck operations
• Maintains a safe driving record

RequirementsAble to operate a delivery truck with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,000 (GVWR)

• Able to work a 40-hour work week minimum
• Must consent to and pass a drug screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check
• Adheres to assigned routes, schedules, safety protocols, and transportation laws
• Strong time management and individual organization standards
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management such as cleaning floors and trash pick-up

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Maintain a safe, valid Class A CDL driver's license for the state of Florida
• Must pass a criminal background screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check
• High-school diploma or equivalent
