That's why our drivers build long-lasting careers with us.Benefits you can count on:PayRate: Drivers make 98K-108K gross peryear.Sign-OnBonus: Up to 10K depending onexperience.3rdshift dispatchDay 1 Benefits:medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paidlife insurance.Paid holidays: earn vacationtime, and sick leave accrual from day one.401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.Additional benefits: pet insurance,maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discountprograms, tuition reimbursement program, and more!What you'll do as aCDL-A Delivery Driver:Inspecttractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspectionreport indicating condition.Inspect bill oflading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applyingknowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill inmaneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet)according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, producttemperatures and exceptions.Unload trailer,delivering product into customer premises.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications you'llbring as a CDL-A Teammate:At least 21 years ofageValid Class A commercial driver's license(CDL-A)At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiablemiles of tractor-trailer driving experienceMust meet McLane's MVR and risk ratingqualificationsThis position requires theability to read, write, and understand English at a levelsufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols,and communications essential to the role.
