Driver - United Scrap Metal : Job Details

The Driver is the single direct contact responsible for good public relations with the customers and the general public; he or she is expected to act professionally at all times. Executes customer service requests and material logistics; reports any customer complaints immediately to the Dispatchers; performs job per instructions given verbally or in writing, including those on manifests, bills of lading and/or other shipping documents to determine the location and time of delivery Drops, hooks, spots or otherwise interchanges equipment for loading or unloading at various locations; weighs all transported material entering and leaving the facility. Communicates professionally (verbally and in writing) with others including company representatives, fellow Drivers, and customers.
