Pay: $17.42 per hour A.T Staffing is currently seeking a CDL Driver to join the Street Department. This position plays a key role in the maintenance and repair of roadways, particularly in support of asphalt operations. Requirements:

• Valid Class B CDL (minimum)
• Knowledge of the asphalt laying process
• Familiarity with Lufkin city streets and surrounding areas is a strong plus
• Flexibility to assist in duties outside of normal truck operations
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain dump trucks and other commercial vehicles
• Assist in the asphalt paving process including shovel and rake work as needed
• Maintain a clean and well-kept truck, including daily inspections and reporting mechanical issues to a supervisor
• Be familiar with the local asphalt plant and hauling processes
• Occasionally operate other equipment
• Be prepared to load materials (dirt, millings, etc.) using heavy equipment when necessary
• Participate in hauling and removal of trees, brush, and debris during city maintenance operations

Additional Information:This role requires someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to go beyond traditional driving duties.
