Driver - Full Time, Days (East Los Angeles) - Prospect Medical Holdings : Job Details

The Driver transports patients between home and hospitals or vice versa. Primary duties include ensuring all policies/procedures are followed, ensuring the safety of the patient, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Assists with performing routine clerical tasks, and other related duties as assigned. Demonstrates excellent driving skills, following all policies/procedures and rules of the road. Transports patients according to daily schedule supplied by the dispatcher. Ensures that patient pick-up and drop-off is completed in timely manner based on the calculated route. Notifies dispatcher as appropriate when unforeseen delays occur. Recognizes and reports changes in the patient's condition, takes appropriate action and accurately documents all activities as required. Receives and accurately inventories and secures patient belongings as appropriate.
