Driver - Courier Services - UTMB Health : Job Details

To provide for the routine operation and minor maintenance of university vehicles in the transportation of materials or passengers Job Duties Transfers patients and other assigned passengers on and/or off campus, assisting them in entering and exiting vehicle. Deliver and/or retrieves materials as instructed. Assists in the loading and unloading of materials from vehicle. Maintains daily log of mileage, number of trips, passengers/cargo, destination, and fuel and oil consumption. Inspects condition of assigned vehicle on a regular basis with regard to oil, fuel, tires, and water. Reports any needed adjustments or repairs to supervisors. Adheres to internal controls established for department. Performs related duties as required Working Environment: Lift and move of heavy objects. Drive vehicles under adverse weather conditions and have the ability to cope with emergency driving situations Salary Range Actual salary commensurate with experience.
