**Driver - Battery Swapping Operations**

Brooklyn, NY, USA Req #11042 Tuesday, February 22, 2022 Motivate is looking to hire **Drivers for our battery swapping operations** to join our growing eBike team. As a driver, you will play a crucial role on the team as you travel throughout the city providing maintenance to Electric Bikes (eBikes) in the bikeshare system. This role will report to the Operations Management team and will require a driver's license and someone who is comfortable/excited about working outdoors in all weather conditions.

**About the Role**

* Communicate with dispatch and management to be assigned routes throughout the shift. Use proprietary app to track/report work

* Test e-bike functionality, performing basic diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, reboots, and minor repairs as needed

* Perform various tasks related to the replacement and repair of electric bicycle (e-bike) auxiliary hardware components

* Drive to locations throughout the city to deliver and/or swap out bicycle parts

* Ride an e-bike to and from hardware locations

* Load and unload materials

* Assemble e-bike auxiliary hardware components in a warehouse (Auxiliary hardware includes e-bike batteries, on-board locking mechanisms, and other components attached to the standard base bicycle)

* Follow safe work practices and adhere to all workplace policies

**About You**

* You have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with working knowledge of the New York area geography/street layout

* You are comfortable driving, stopping, and working in a busy outdoor urban environment, as well as riding an electric bicycle with a trailer in traffic

* You can easily follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance

* You have great customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

* You are excited to be part of a tight knit team

* You are dependable working an assigned, flexible schedule and can work 10 hour shifts as needed

* You are able to lift to 60 pounds; stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time
