Serving seven markets across Central Illinois, our $500 million community bank provides a full range of services to retail and commercial customers. As a Drive-Up Teller Supervisor, you'll be an essential part of our team. This position supervises and coordinates teller operations of the drive-up faculty. This key position is also responsible for providing quality customer service by making sure the teller team accurately processes transactions in a professional and courteous manner while adhering to bank and regulatory policy and procedure. The Drive-Up Teller Supervisor also assists the Branch Manager in audit, operational, and training procedures concerning teller operations. Hours for this positions are typically 7:00-4:00 on Monday through Friday and 8:00-12:00 on rotating Saturdays; however, these hours will vary depending on the needs of the teller line. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the drive-up teller staff, ensuring efficient and accurate customer service.
- Recruit, hire, oversee, and train drive-up teller staff.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all bank policies and procedures, ensuring operational integrity and compliance for the entire teller staff, and managing operational responsibilities such as the vault cash and ATM.
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
- Conduct routine transactions within established guidelines, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, processing withdrawals, and handling loan payments.
- Provide great customer service, including greeting customers warmly and professionally, actively listening to customer needs and address inquiries promptly, and handling customer complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Educate customers about our products and services, including savings accounts, loans, and credit cards. Cross-sell relevant banking products based on customer profiles.
- Safeguard customers' personal information and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the bank.
- Remain alert to potential fraud and take necessary precautions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two to Five years of similar or related banking experience required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
