Our teachers model and encourage a deep investment in learning.THE ROLE: The administrative assistant serves as both the main receptionist for the school and the office manager, overseeing processes and projects to ensure that the school runs safely and smoothly, and the educators can focus on teaching and learning. A strong candidate will be great with both people and processes. This person will have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and processes without missing a beat. In addition, this person will have experience with budget tracking and ordering, comfort with technology, and facility with a wide range of administrative tasks.QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS
- Associates Degree Required, additional education desirable.
- Has administrative support experience in K-12 education or a similar field
- Comfortable working with databases, Google suite tools (docs, sheets, slides) and
- learning to use new technology
- Communicates clearly and professionally in both speech and writing
- Juggles multiple responsibilities and adapts to change

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the daily operations of the school.
- Assist the principal in communicating both internally and externally
- Maintain a master school calendar and the principal's calendar
- Schedule/coordinate special events for the school year
- Oversee collection and maintenance of records and files
- Maintain school accounts
- Track student and staff attendance and student dismissal
- Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned
JOB ENVIRONMENT Work takes place in a fast-paced office environment within a school building, primarily indoors. May be required to multitask and will face interruptions as a matter of course.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires sufficient vision to read printed documents and to view details on a computer
- screen for extended periods.
- Ability to speak in an understandable voice with sufficient volume to be heard in normal
- conversation, on the telephone and over the paging system.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching, as well as carrying
- and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
