JOB DESCRIPTION

Title - Software Engineer

Location - Orlando FL/ Richmond, VA (4 days onsite in a week)

Duration - Long term contract

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems with the ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
• Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices.
• Ability to provide guidance and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
• 6-7 years of .NET Framework/Core experience with understanding of how the User Interface, backend code, and database work together in complex technical solutions.
• Solid knowledge of .NET Entity Framework.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling) with MS SQL Server.
• Proven ability to code complex methods/functions, optimize application performance, and work with various tools and technologies.
• Ability to lead application design and contribute to technical discussions.

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree and ten+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems, or business segments.
• Banking or financial services experience, especially in Real Estate Lending.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with excellent debugging skills.
• Experience building high-quality applications or services from the ground up, scalable at an enterprise level with performance and maintainability in mind.
• Experience with open-source tools and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architectures.
• Experience with web servers, application containers, caching technologies.
• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., MQ and JMS).
• Experience with build tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps, including writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
