**Position Overview**:

The Domestic Customer Service Agent must have the ability to troubleshoot and become first point of contact for AITs customers seeking help with timely delivery. Establishing new relationships, managing and maintaining existing customers accounts and assessing customers needs translating into results oriented solutions.

**What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:**

* Manage new and existing customer accounts to assure accurate and timely delivery

* Serve as a liaison between the sales team and customers to enhance service experience

* Promote additional services to contribute to overall profit

* Interact with various agents /carriers & AIT partner Stations to set up quotes, routes and rates for domestic air and ground freight shipments.

* Review customer shipment queries and take immediate action to correct or solve issues that may occur

* Suggest improvements in procedures that will increase efficiency to reduce errors and better serve our customers

* Built and maintain relationships with AITs customers on a first name basis

* Answering phones calls and emails in a timely and efficient matter in a face-paced environment

* Other duties as assigned

**Other Skills We Hope to See:**

* High School/GED required

* Associates Degree preferred

* 1-3 years of customer service experience

* Freight forwarding experience is a plus!

* Excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers

* Strong problem solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* High attention to details and accuracy

* Ability work and adapt in a high volume, fast paced work environment

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
