JOB DESCRIPTION
ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Documentation Specialist - Intermediate to support their work with U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for document and content lifecycle management across Power Platform and SharePoint environments. This includes enforcing document governance policies, managing content workflows, and configuring metadata, permissions, and publishing settings for enterprise collaboration platforms.
The specialist will work closely with teams building Power Apps, SharePoint sites, and other tools to ensure uniformity, organization, and content control across the ACC enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services and will support portal governance to maintain visual and operational consistency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Configure and manage document check-in/out, version control, and document sets
Establish and maintain metadata-driven classification and organization frameworks
Create and manage permission constructs to ensure appropriate access control
Design and implement document review, approval, publication, and disposition workflows
Apply content organizer rules to streamline document routing and storage
Enforce ACC portal governance policies to support uniformity and standardization across content
Support branding and theming alignment across all ACC documentation systems and interfaces
Provide documentation and configuration support for Power Platform and SharePoint Online solutions
Ensure records and document controls align with Army and ACC requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in documentation or content management roles
Proficient in:
Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online (M365)
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Project, and Visio
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing structured document workflows and permissions in enterprise environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting Army 365 environments
Familiarity with DoD or federal document governance policies
Understanding of metadata design and taxonomy management
Experience supporting Power Platform solution lifecycle documentation
